It all started with one man’s vision to create a world-class Filipino trading company with a primary objective to improve the lives of the Filipino farmers. From the company’s humble beginnings to its aggressive expansion plans, All Asian Countertrade, Inc. continuously aims to achieve key business milestones that will create deep impact not only to the sugar industry but to the people we serve: our customers, our suppliers, our employees, our shareholders, and our community.

2018

From its humble beginnings, All Asian remains to be ahead of the game after 25 years! On January 20, 2018, the company celebrated its 25^th year in the sugar trading business. To commemorate such a big milestone, All Asian, despite the challenging trading grinds, had a 4-day out-of-town celebration. The festivities, aside from the objective to loosen up and relax, was dedicated to recognize the loyalty and passion of its people behind the 25 years of success.

2016

Monde M.Y. San Corporation and Supplier Audit Circle awarded All Asian on November 14, 2016 as M.Y. San Supplier of the Year in appreciation of its commitment for quality goods and services.

2015

All Asian was certified and recognized by Del Monte Philippines for its quality, delivery and competitive advantages for fiscal year 2015.

2014

All Asian was awarded in 2014 by Landbank of the Philippines as the Regional Winner in the Large Agri-Based Corporation category. All Asian's outstanding position in the sugar industry is anchored with its strong and lasting farmer partnerships that build and provide significance across the agricultural value chain.

2014

All Asian launched the Culture Engagement Project. It was conceptualized to learn, to embrace and to live out the "All Asian Way" that focuses on the core values of All Asian. A project that ultimately aspires to become a world class organization that will last "at least 100 years."

2013

All Asian was awarded as the Best Functional Ingredients Supplier by Magnolia, Inc.

2013

Operating an import and export business, All Asian partners with its banking allies in currency hedging to mitigate risks. The company was featured in Security Bank’s 2013 Annual Report. The bank, being one of All Asian's financial advisors, has recognized its ability to hedge its position through the bank’s FX and swap products and optimize trading profits.

2013

With All Asian continuous growth, as it finds new avenues for equity value creation, it has ranked 110th by gross revenue in 2013 Business World’s Top 1000 Corporation.

2012

On December 17, 2012, All Asian signed a Notes Facility Agreement with China Banking Corporation (China Bank) to lead a 5-Year Term Loan Facility. It was participated by China Bank, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Land Bank of the Philippines which amounted to P1.750B. The proceeds of the term loan was intended to refinance the company's short term loans and to fund its sugar trading operations.

2012

All Asian was given the Silver Award for quality, service and cost efficiency by Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. during its 3rd Supplier Relationship Management Summit in November of 2012.

2008

In 2008, All Asian launched a Bowling Tournament with the sugar mill partners, Central Azucarera Don Pedro, Busco Sugar Corp. and Lopez Sugar Corp. The annual event was conceptualized to develop strong relationships with said sugar millers. It likewise gives the participating companies’ employees a venue to unleash their talents and skills. It does not only improve their bowling competence every year, but it also allows them to show their singing and dancing talents during the “You’ve Got Talent” competition at the end of each tournament.

2005

All Asian was conferred as the Most Outstanding Sugar Trader (National Awards) by the Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards Institute, the Asian Institute of Marketing and Entrepreneurship and the Marketing Insights Magazine for undertaking "best marketing practices" leading towards market dominance, goodwill, high-level customer confidence and market acceptability.

2001

All Asian imported a sugar mill from Okinawa, Japan to increase the efficiency of sugar milling in Pampanga, ensuring the province's sugar planting viability. Today, the company consists of a wide range of businesses dedicated to improving the quality of our sugar, farms, logistics, customer service and community.

1996

In 1996, with All Asian’s commitment to create competitive advantages to its customers, it established its own logistics company to have complete control over its sugar deliveries. Through the years, the company’s logistics people aim to center its efforts to meet the customers’ expectations, and launched “We ❤️️ our Customers!” campaign. It does not limit its services to move sugar, but ensures safe and timely delivery, exactly when the sugar is needed with the quality it is expected. It eventually evolved under the name of Whitelands Express, Inc. -- raising the bar to the next level to make a difference starting with an improved recruitment process for the best-qualified drivers and support staff in the industry.

1994

During the same year as its founding, All Asian managed to support one of the country's oldest sugar mills, Pampanga Sugar Development Corporation (PASUDECO), located at the heart of San Fernando, Pampanga. In order to help the area's sugarcane planters, All Asian began paying fair prices for their sugarcanes. It significantly increased the planters' income and their ability to continue growing sugarcane. This helped the lives of many farmers, and gave new life to the 70-year-old sugar mill.

1994

Founded by Michael L. Escaler in partnership with Louis Dreyfus and Nissho-Iwai. The company began operations with four people. All Asian's first major transaction was to supply one of the world’s largest non-alcoholic beverage manufacturers with six months of sugar at a time of rising prices. Prior to its entry into the market, the company had been unable to secure a steady source of sugar as traders refused to sell them more than a week’s supply. All Asian's arrival gave the company access to half of their sugar requirements at a fixed price, a first in the Philippine sugar industry. It was not long before other industrial sugar users came to seek All Asian’s exceptional, tailor-made and personalized sugar service solutions.
