Michael L. Escaler
Chairman & CEO
Michael L. Escaler is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of All Asian Countertrade Inc. He sits in the Board of a long string of organizations in the fields of energy, water, real estate, transport and logistics.
In 1972, he began his career in New York City right out of Ateneo De Manila University. His first job was with Nissho-Iwai of America while taking his Masters in Business Administration in New York University.
It was on his second year in New York where he joined ACLI International, a Jewish family trading company. He was mentored by Gerry Ascher, a renowned sugar trader. This opened his door to the world of International Sugar Trading. At 27 years old, he was the youngest Vice President and was assigned to head their London sugar office.
The turning point of his career was when he was hired by Philipp Brothers and headed the white sugar department for more than a decade.
He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including Outstanding Capampangan for Business & Industry (2002), Most Outstanding Sugar Trader from the Philippine Marketing Excellence Award (2005), Go Negosyo Most Inspiring Pampanga Entrepreneurs (2007), and Outstanding Fernandino Award (2007). He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Makati, and sits on the Board of Trustees of the PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. and Manila Golf & Country Club Foundation.
Patricia Maria L. Escaler
President
Patricia Maria L. Escaler a product of Assumption College, started her professional career in real estate, followed by retail and merchandising. She joined All Asian Countertrade Inc. in 2008, starting with overseeing the sugar mills, Sweet Crystals Integrated Mill Corporation and Pampanga Sugar Development Corporation.
She now manages the Supply Chain operations, Trading and Finance.
Her social and civic affiliations include Oscar & Ginny Foundation, Maria Isabelle L. Escaler Foundation, Friends of Elsie Gaches Village, Bahay Maria Inc., and Rotary Club of Makati.
Jonathan D. Sy

Jonathan D. Sy, a graduate of Agribusiness Management, from Silliman University, is the pioneer head of All Asian Bacolod since 1997 where he started to lead a team of three people, including himself, together with the Makati counterparts. His role in Bacolod plays a strategic point on what AACI is now.
He is an entrepreneur in his own right, trading various commodities including copra, palm oil and coconut oil.
Emil B. Monfort

Prior to his current post, Emil Monfort has long been associated with All Asian Countertrade, Inc. by working with the company’s affiliates and partners in various capacities – as President/Director of JSY Counter Trading Inc., St.John Paul Countertrade Corporation and St. Claire Countertrade Corporation.
Emil’s extensive work experience also include previous jobs as General Manager of the VMC Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Board of Directors of Negros Cooperative Bank, as well as Operations Manager of Bacolod Columbia Marketing Inc.
A native of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Mr. Monfort is a graduate of BA Psychology from De La Salle University- Manila. He is also a candidate for a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of St. La Salle- Bacolod.
Alexander M. Collarin

Alexander M. Collarin is an All Asian Countertrade, Inc. home-grown talent who started the ranks in 1996 and worked his way up to handle positions such as Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, Execution Manager and currently a Senior Trader for All Asian Countertrade, Inc. He was under the mentorship of AACI Founder, Chairman & CEO Mr. Michael Ecaler, which paved the way for Alex’s sugar trading career.
He joined Omnigrains Trading Corporation in January 2021 and was appointed as the General Manager. Alex has been in commodity trading for 25 years.
